The Verner Panton 31 chandelier, in polished aluminium, will be a major feature on the premises and this is the first installation in the UK, in a public space. Annemette's rugs will also shortly be on show on the premises. Product Launches This February, Unique Interieur launched two new products designed by Verner Panton: FlowerPot pendant and Topan pendant, both in white opal glass. The famous FlowerPot pendant, which was very popular in the 60's and 70's, went back into production in year 2000, in metal finish. It is now also available in glass, in two sizes, and it gives off more light than the metal version. The smaller size is 230mm in diameter, the larger size 530mm. Metal FlowerPot is now paint finish, in white, black, red and blue as well as polished aluminium and stainless steel. The equally versatile lamp Topan has also been out of production for over a decade. It is now going into production as well, in white opal glass. The glass luminaires can be ordered from late May/early June. Panton Dish In case you missed it, we now stock the large Verner Panton dish, in clear or smoked glass, with sandblasted underside. A line of FlowerPots FlowerPot can be installed singly, in a line or in large clusters, for maximum impact. Red FlowerPot pendants are used on the set for BBC2's Sunday morning 'Smile' program, hanging in a line. Elle Decoration, April 2003, is featuring FlowerPots in polished aluminimum and stainless steel, suspended at different levels (page 104). FlowerPot Chandelier You can now make your own Verner Panton FlowerPot chandelier, in the most suitable size and the choice of finish is yours. We can supply you with the complete model, ready for installation, or you can order the components needed. The chandeliers are made with 4, 10, 20, 31, 64 or 128 lamps. Please ask for more details. BULB BULB was designed by Sofie Refer in year 2000 and has attracted much attention, not only because of the simple, beautiful design, but also because it is so competitively priced. The design was awarded 'GOOD DESIGN AWARD' in 2001 at The Chicago Anthenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design. There is now also a TRIO BULB, where 3 luminaires are suspended from a stainless steel track, 45cm long. Contact Design TORCH design has attracted a lot of attention world-wide since its launch in 1998 and has been specified for many high profile projects, in hotels, nightclubs, restaurants and spas. London installation: The lamps have been installed in The Anexo, at Turnmills Club in Clerkenwell Road. Visit the club to see the lamps and don't miss out on having a bite to eat in the award winning restaurant Gaudi. Contact Design is shortly launching a new matching luminaire, in the form of a cube. More details in next Newsletter. Annemette Beck The long awaited paper-twine rugs and runners from Annemette are now in production, as well as hand-tufted wool rugs and rya rugs.
