To celebrate this, products from both companies will be displayed at Pulse, Earls Court, 11-14th May, stand U-J61. We hope you can come there to see new products and meet all of us. Absolut Form will show the new Verner Panton glass lamps at Pulse: FlowerPot in standard size and extra large, as well as Topan. There will also be throws and tablemats in felted wool by Annemette Beck, and a new range of glassware by Sofie Refer. You can contact Simply Scandinavian or Absolut Form for prices and availability, but the general rule is that Simply Scandinavian will deal with all enquries for specifiers and Absolut Form will deal with all retail enquiries. Simply Scandinavian will therefore have an extended range with clocks, telephones, alarm clocks, weather stations, smoke alarms and tableware products, for the contract market. Absolut Form products: Jacob Jensen Jacob Jensen was chief designer for B&O for many years. Jacob Jensen's designs are noted for their simple classic Scandinavian style and functionalism. Jacob Jensen products: Jacob Jensen telephone, wall mounted or freestanding Jacob Jensen alarm clock. Also thermometer, hygrometer, barometer and radio controlled clock in the same series Jacob Jensen optical smoke alarm Absolut Form products: Piet Hein Piet Hein was a Danish architect, who rose to international fame through other disciplines as well, such as mathematics, verse and furniture design. Outside Denmark, he is best know for inventing The SuperellipseŽ - a combination of the rectangle and the oval into a shape that is a combination of the two. Here are just a few of his designs: Piet Hein candleholder in the shape of The SuperellipseŽ Piet Hein dish in the shape of The SuperellipseŽ, available in several sizes Piet Hein sun dial 'Helix Helios' Absolut Form products: other designers Amphora water jug and glass, designed by Marcus Vagnby The wizard rubber bowl, which can be shaped to be a dish or a bowl, in wonderful tactile colours. Designed by Steffen Schmelling LOWE interiors Lowe Interiors have now hung the 31 FlowerPot chandelier in their showroom at 18 Exmouth Market, London EC1R 4QE. It has been much admired and we hope to bring you photos of the installation soon. Tel 0207 278 1140. The Furniture Fair in Copenhagen If you are lucky enough to have a trip planned to Copenhagen now, you can visit The Furniture Fair at Bella Centret 7-11th May. You will find Unique Interieur displaying new products in Hall C3, stand number 020B and Annemette displaying felted throws and paper twine rugs in Hall 042A. New Price Lists We regret that there are price increases on our product ranges, which reflect the loss of Sterling against the euro and Danish currency. As a consequence, we have been forced to pass on the increases. However, thanks to our collaboration with Absolut Form, we have been able to keep the price increases at a much lower level than anticipated. You will find the new price lists on our website, under PRODUCTS, for Unique Interieur and Contact Design. Verner Panton Exhibition 21/06/03 to 21/10/03 We would like to give you as much notice as possible of this important exhibition, which will be held at Dansk Design Center, Copenhagen. A wonderful time to see this exhibition in the centre of Copenhagen, visit the delightful capital of Denmark, take in the sights and go shopping for pleasure. The food is not bad either!
