We would like thank all of you who visited us at 100%, which attracted record number of visitors. At the time of going to press, we are still struggling to send out information to all of you, who requested information on our stand. You will therefore be able to access a lot of this information within this Newsletter.

We launched several new products and two new companies on our stand, all of which received a lot of attention.

    Scandinavian Light

    Sinus by Piet Hein

Holmegaard, which has been making finest mouth-blown glass tableware since 1825, has recently gone into production with a wide range of glass luminaires, equally suited to the contract and domestic market.

The range ranges covers pendants, table lamps, floor lamps and wall lamps. Designers include famous names such as Verner Panton and Piet Hein, as well as their in-house designers.

Sinus, designed by Piet Hein, stole the show, with the pure simplicity of design, so characteristic for the designer. Piet Hein, who was a contemporary with Arne Jacobsen and all of those famous Scandinavian designers of the 60's, died in 1996. He was truly multi-talented - an architect, a designer, a mathematician and lyricist. His designs and ideas were always reduced down to the only essential elements, where art and function play an equal role. The Sinus pendant is a perfect excample of that.

For a full retail price list with product information of the Scandinavian Light luminaires, please click on the link below. You can also view the lighting on the Danish site, which will be translated into English later in the year.

    Sofie Refer

Sofie launched a new chandelier called 'ice blue' at 100% Design, which was much admired. Sofie has already designed a range of glass tableware, as well as the award winning pendant Bulb for Unique Interieur, with which many of you will be familiar.

Ice blue features a beautiful 5, 10 or 20 watt halogen lamp for the luminaire, with a new remote control dimmer in the ceiling rose and anodised stems.

The Torch series, which has been specified for some of the most prestigeous projects worldwide, has now been extended to a double-ended luminaire, with IP 23 rating.

    Unique Interieur

FlowerPot, designed by Verner Panton, was already an icon in the 60's when it went into production and is still very popular in modern interiors. Hang in large groups for maximum effect.

At 100%, we saw what looked like hundreds of black FlowerPots on another stand, all hung at the same level, in rectangular formation, at eyelevel or lower.

    TM Line 2000

TM Line fitted wardrobes, walk-in wardrobes and matching bedroom was launched at the show and the reception was overwhelming.

    Walk-In Wardrobe in Walnut

The company, which already retails through the most select outlets in the UK, were delighted that so many specifiers reacted positively to the message that the highest level of craftsmanship and design go hand in hand, yet is supplied at realistic prices.

In response to the high level of demand, the capacity for bespoke manufacturing has just been doubled within the company, which now also covers contract wardrobes and matching furniture for the hotel sector.

For larger project, please discuss options for wood, glass, style of doors etc. You will find that the range is very keenly priced, with no compromise to quality.

    Annemette Beck

Annemette's Collection clearly showed that her accomplished skills in weaving are teamed with a joy in exploring new and often surprising materials.

Room dividers and hangings were made from used bicycle tyres, shiny plastics normally only used in the car manufactureres, crystals, etc - all woven with a keen eye for maximum impact with minimum input.

Annemette's now also designs hand-tufted rugs, with designs and budget to suit each client.

The service includes using the Chromatone Colour Reference system, which is the industry standard for the rug and carpet industry. By using this system, we can now offer exact colour matching to a mood board. Please call our office to discuss your needs.
